If you're an incoming traditional transfer student or an adult learner, coming to St. Joe's from maybe another institution or restarting your education, you will find a community of support people who care about you, people who have your back and want only the best for you to succeed. So the transfer process, the admissions process, is really easy, actually. I transferred to St. Joe's within a span of like two weeks. I was able to transfer all 15 of my credits from my previous school, so I was at the same level standing as everyone else. I transferred from a large state school that was much further away from home than Philadelphia is. When I stepped on St. Joe's campus I felt at home already.
Adult students will find a place at St. Joe's because the faculty are committed to working with them. Sometimes there's been a gap since the last time they've been in an educational setting. So our learning skills consultations are extremely helpful as well as tutoring. So meeting with someone one on one to get some support in math for in writing is really important and is free and available to all adult students. By offering a combination of evening in-person classes as well as online courses, working adults can really find the flexibility they need at St. Joe's you can really gain some momentum and keep going with your education.
