Erivan K. Haub School of Business

The business leaders of the future will require the skills and values that a Jesuit liberal education provides. By integrating mind-opening, immersive experiences and ethics-driven conversations with a rigorous curriculum to help you venture into the unfamiliar and rethink inherited notions, you will carve your own path in the professional world.

Faculty in the Haub School of Business bring their industry experience and scholarly expertise in business, marketing, finance, pharmacy, healthcare and other fields, providing real-world context to the theories you learn in the classroom. You’ll have opportunities to participate in our co-op program and gain a full-year of work experience while earning an average of $30,000 during the course of the program.

The Haub School of Business has an industry driven focus which can be demonstrated not just by our niche programs such as food marketing, pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing, and risk management and insurance. Our different departments also have advisory boards, and the value of those advisory boards is that we're able to stay connected to people who are in industry making sure that we're preparing students in a way that's going to make the most sense so that they're able to get those internships and get those jobs that they want when they get ready to graduate. Any Haub student could choose to become part of our Co-op Program. The Co-op Program is a four year program where the students get 2 full terms of full-time work experience, and so they're out in companies.

My company that I work for is AmerisourceBergen, and I work with real numbers, I send real reports. So it's just an opportunity for students to apply what they learn in the classroom, and work for a real business. By having professors that have worked in the industry in which they're teaching, they're able to provide a different perspective for us in the classroom, and giving us tips on the workplace environment as well as communicating with others. A business education at a liberal arts school, by taking classes such as philosophy and psychology, we are exposed to the different methods of communicating with other people.
