When students attend college, everything's starting from scratch, so everything comes together. So any physical health concerns, any mental health concerns, any adjustments to making new friends and finding your new place in the world is important. And so we have many resource areas that connect with students individually, as well as doing group programming, and pushing out information so students can get what they need to be supported and happy. The Success Center is comprised of five different departments that are all working to help students be their best selves and find what they need when they're at school. So Summer Services for students with disabilities and the Athletic Center for enrichment, which both supports specific populations. Then there's also Office of Learning Resources, Student Success and Student Transitions, who are open to all students to help support them as they are needing resources, needing support, needing a tutor, providing learning skills, strategies, time management, all sorts of things.
The Center for Inclusion and Diversity is another wonderful resource that we have here at Saint Joseph's University, and it's located in Campion Student Center over on the second floor. So there's a space where students can go for prayer, there's a space where students can go, kind of just hang out. So it's nice to walk through the center and see students in there either studying or chatting over a TV episode that they're watching, we definitely have the resources available at St. Joe's for the students.
Our retention rate at Saint Joseph's University is 90%. So 9 out of 10 students who started Saint Joseph's return the following fall. And it's because they feel like they're a part of this community and want to stay and want to be a part of it. So if you're coming to Saint Joseph's, you've made a great decision, and you're going to stay because you're going to feel the magic that's here and we're extremely proud of that.
